Lifting with your knees is a bad idea

You’ve probably heard family, friends, and coworkers say this to you before: “Lift with your knees, not your back!” And you’ve probably also heard it from your doctor, chiropractor, massage therapist, etc. etc. But lifting with your knees isn’t actually all it’s cracked up to be. Lifting with your knees is really just a short-term solution to a long-term problem. If you retrain your body properly, you can save your knees the strain of doing the work your back and hips are supposed to be doing.
